Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope ref 329.30.43.51.02.002 (2024) Omega took the familiar Speedy layout and layered it with old-school 1940s chronograph inspiration for this watch, which is why this dial looks busier than your typical Moonwatch. At 43mm in stainless steel, it wears larger and more contemporary, but the real story is on the dial. It has three separate timing scales printed in a vintage “snail” design: a tachymeter for speed, a pulsometer for measuring heart rate, and a telemeter for calculating distance based on sound. It’s functional, yes. But it’s also an homage to the era when chronographs were true multi-tools. The spiral track pattern under the Arabic numerals and the blackened subdials give it a slightly technical, almost instrument-panel feel. Inside is the manually wound Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 9908, anti-magnetic and METAS-certified. It’s still a Speedmaster. Just one that's more vintage-scientific than space-race nostalgia.
